General site information

I have written this help page based on user feedback and requests, I hope that you find it useful.

This site is best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 or greater, the galleries are best suited to a broadband connection with your browser in full screen mode on monitors less than 1280 x 1024 , if you are using a dialup connection please be patient waiting for image content to load.
Please keep in mind that image content is slower to load than a textual page.

This website is (x)html based with page layout and formatting serves by CSS (cascading style sheet) and has been tested on the late versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera browsers.
earlier browsers may not display everything correctly and very old browsers may only display plain text with images.

Galleries

The galleries are in HTML format controlled by a JavaScript, for browsers that do not support or don’t have JavaScript enabled, the gallery will default to basic HTML features.

Due the the nature of the image content, images may take a while to load, dialup users please be patient.

Clicking on a thumbnail image in one of the galleries will launch the gallery for that subject or style, to view the gallery click on a gallery thumbnail, you will see a screen similar to the example on the left with a page of thumbnails.

To view images in the gallery click on a thumbnail, and the image will launch, the first image will launch a slideshow, with options pause, play, next/previous (mouseover image) or close.

The screenshot to the right is what you will see if you don’t have a JavaScript enabled browser.
Clicking on a thumbnail will open the image in a basic browser window, use the browser back button to return to the thumbnail page.
