Simon's Photography Blog: Seduced by Light
Simon Pole photography blog is about my photography and some of the experimental photographic work that I do, My photography has always been about light and using it to its best effect, hence the blog’s title, Seduced by Light.
In this blog I will address some of the common questions that I am asked as well as providing lighting diagrams and explanations about some of the experiments.
If you enjoy photography so much, then these explanations can be as easy and enjoyable as figuring out the statistics in a bingo game.

Simon and Chrissie's Blog: Simon and Chrissie Collaboration
The Simon and Chrissie Collaboration blog is a jointly administered blog
between myself, model and friend Chrissie, AKA Chrissie Red.
This blog is as ongoing record/journal of our photographic work together, which
is mostly Fine art and figure nude.
Also this blog addresses our friendship how we came to meet up and just some of
the odd and random stuff we do, either within or outside of photography.

Lighting Scotland Blog: Scotland at night
Back in September 2006 I attended a mini LightPainting tutorial lead by David McAleavy
of LightPainting.org who I had met a couple of times at social events in Glasgow, I
had admired his work since I first came across it in early 2005, having had a few
plays with the technique, I was more drawn to the possibilities that it had with
locations, where Dave's work is more people based mainly, he has produced some great
and eye catching work and I didn't want to be influenced by that, not to mention that
some of it I feel isn't realistically within my current understanding of the technique.
Full introduction continued on Lighting Scotland.

My photography and the Simon and Chrissie Collaboration
blog are tagged as mature content because there is artistic nude content on them and
recommended for people over the age of majority in your country of residence.
Lighting Scotland is faimily friendly.
